CBSE Date Sheet 2022 of Class 10 and 12 For Term-1 Board Exam
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released CBSE Date Sheet 2022 for Class 10, 12 students. The CBSE board exams will be held twice a year from the academic year 2021-22 onwards. The time table for both CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 Term I is available on the official site of CBSE on cbse.nic.in.
CBSE Class 10th and Class 12th board examinations will be conducted in two terms. Term-1 examination which will be conducted in the month of November- December, 2021. This will be an objective type examination and the duration of this examination would be 90 minutes. Term-2 examination will be conducted in the month of March-April, 2022. This will be a subjective / objective type examination as per the condition of the COVID-19 in the country.
“The biggest thing is that National Education Policy (NEP) has recommended that children should be given more than one opportunity in the exam. We have declared the date-sheet. Children do not have to wait for the result and that is why we decided this time to do the exam in two parts. Term-1 and Term 2. In term 1 we will do objective type exam and in term two we will do subjective type as per till now,” said CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj on October 19.
Accordingly, first, examinations of minor subjects will be conducted. Thereafter, examinations of major subjects will be conducted.
All examinations would be conducted in offline mode.
CBSE is offering 114 subjects in Class 11 and 75 subjects in Class 10. Meaning thereby CBSE has to conduct the examinations of a total 189 subjects. If the examination of all subjects is conducted, entire duration of the examinations would be about 40-45 days minimum. Therefore, to avoid learning loss of students, CBSE has decided that subjects offered by CBSE will be divided into two parts- i.e. major subjects and minor subjects. As major subjects are offered by almost all the affiliated schools, hence, exams of these subjects will be conducted by fixing date sheet as done earlier.
Regarding minor subjects, CBSE will make group of schools offering these subjects and thus more than one paper would be conducted by CBSE in the schools on a day.
